To calculate CPM, simply divide your total spend on your CPM campaign by the amount of impressions or it is the cost per 1000 ad impressions of the advertiser. Publishers earn revenue whenever CPM ads are displayed on publisher websites. CPM is more cost-effective than CPC and it is different from CPC ads.
Whereas to calculate eCPM (Effective CPM), divide the ad revenue with the number of ad impressions and then multiply the quotient by 1000. eCPM allows you to track your ad performance by comparing the earnings across different pages and sites. This method also helps to compare with other forms of advertising revenue.
Adapex makes your ads viewable. Viewability is important to advertisers and publishers. Various Researches on it show that ads with more than 50% viewability can have a lift of 26% in CPMs.
